A countryman goes to the capital to buy six statues of the Buddhist God Jizo for a new temple. Upon reaching the city he realizes he does not know where a sculptor lives nor what one looks like. While searching in the streets, a shyster notices him and decides to trick him out of his money by posing as a master sculptor.
