About This Print

One of three prints in this collection that appear to be reproductions of drawings by Hakutei.  The images have the feel of period illustrations for stories appearing in magazines and the paper also appears to be of the type used in popular magazines of the period.  Hakutei edited and participated in a number of literary and art magazines, but none of these prints seem to fit the format or style of those periodicals.

Each of the three prints has a hand notation on the verso, as shown below, with the artist's name and a descriptive title.  The descriptive title on the back of this print has not been deciphered.
