IHL Cat. #1053

About This Print

A print from Hodaka's Early Period1 portraying a head split by the emotions of love and hate. "Love and Hate shows the energy in emotion. The style is semiabstract, with simplicity of form and elegance in color."2  "His idea is that, although love and hatred are two distinct concepts, sometimes they can be double faces of one entitiy."3
